ONLY SOLD TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES

ORDERING, RETURNS, EXCHANGES & ALTERATIONS POLICY For Body Armor

 

ORDERING:

  • Customers will be sent quotes via email. The customer must approve the quote via email to proceed with ordering.
  • Customers have 24 hours after approving an order to be placed to make any changes or cancellations. Any request made after 24 hours will be at the manufacturer’s discretion.
  • Any order change fees or cancellation fees will be charged to the customer.

 

RETURN, EXCHANGE & ALTERATION RULES & RESTRICTIONS:

  • Any and all restock, order change or cancellation fees will be charged to the customer.
  • Product(s) cannot be outright returned without manufacturer approval.
  • Customer must reach out to American Public Safety with any issues or alteration needs within 10 calendar days of receiving.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return product(s). The manufacturer will cover costs of shipping altered and/or replacement product back to the customer.
  • Items must be postmarked and shipped to the armor manufacturer within thirty (30) calendar days of the original invoice date. Any time after 30 days could result in additional charges.
  • All sales of custom designed and/or special-order items are final.
  • Items must be returned in “like new” condition with original tags and labels. Any product(s) returned and not found to be in this condition could result in additional charges.
  • American Public Safety and/or the armor manufacturer reserve the right to deny returns, exchanges, and alteration requests.

 

CONCEALABLE ARMOR ALTERATIONS:
(AFTER 30-DAY) 

The customer is responsible for all alteration and/or replacement costs if the concealable armor/carrier is not shipped within thirty (30) calendar days of the original invoice date. Fees will be charged up front upon Customer approval to move forward with alterations.

OUTER/TACTICAL CARRIER VESTS:

Except in instance of manufacturer error, all sales of Outer/Tactical Carrier Vests and accompanying soft body armor are final. They cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

K9 CARRIER VESTS:

Except in instance of manufacturer error, all sales of K9 Vest and armor are final. They cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

HARD ARMOR (HELMET, HARD PLATES, AND SHIELDS) AND BALLISTIC BLANKETS:

Except in instance of manufacturer error, all sales of these items are final. They cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT AN RMA CLAIM:

To ensure a smooth, swift process of your RMA Claim, please follow the steps outlined below. Failure to follow instructions will result in an extended timeline to process your RMA which could result in additional fees if it falls outside of the timeframe for submission.

  • Please contact American Public Safety within 10 calendar days of receiving.
  • Provide the below information.

What is your issue?

  • American Public Safety will submit a claim with the manufacturer.
  • Once the claim is finalized and accepted, the customer will be given a Return Goods Authorization (RGA or RMA #) and return address. Write the RGA/RMA # on the outside of the box and ship to the address provided. The customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Once the product(s) are received and inspected by the manufacturer, alterations, new product(s) or credit will be issued.
